Food Allergen Awareness Overview
This course will provide you with an understanding of food hypersensitivities such as food allergies, food intolerances, and coeliac disease. We will look at the 14 main allergens and the legislation in place, Food Information to Consumers (FIC) Regulation and Natasha's Law to ensure accurate and safe labelling.
You will also explore what can be done within your organisation to ensure the safety of those with food allergies and understand what to do should someone experience anaphylaxis.
