Medication Awareness Overview
Our medication awareness training is designed to provide essential knowledge and skills for professionals in the care sector. This comprehensive e-Learning course ensures that staff members are well-equipped to handle medications safely and effectively, improving the overall quality of care provided to individuals. Learners will gain an understanding of the different classifications of medicines and the various restrictions surrounding these. They will be introduced to their roles and responsibilities in the medication administration process, including how to correctly document medication administration on a Medical Administration Record (MAR).
Additionally, they will learn how to respond to issues with medication administration, such as medication errors or adverse drug reactions. Our course is divided into four comprehensive units, each designed to cover critical aspects of medication management.
