Personality Disorder Overview
This course will provide you with an understanding of what personality disorder is and challenge common misconceptions about the condition. It will also provide insight into the different traits associated with the diagnosis and how these can affect an individual's life. You will be introduced to the legislation that protects and supports individuals with personality disorder (such as the Mental Capacity Act, the Equality Act, and the Mental Health Act). Finally, you will learn how to support individuals with personality disorder to keep themselves safe.
