Positive Behaviour Support Overview

Our positive behaviour training provides learners with a clear understanding of behaviours that challenge, including common functions, patterns, and the factors that may influence behaviour. The course explores Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), functional assessments, ABC charts, and how these contribute to the creation and maintenance of PBS support plans.

Learners will also examine non-restrictive practices, the importance of reducing restrictive approaches, and the legislation and policies that support safer care within health and social care settings. Through interactive content and scenario-based learning, the course helps learners apply PBS principles in practice and support individuals in a calm, person-centred way.
