Standard 16: Awareness of Learning Disability and Autism

This course provides a basic awareness of autism and learning disabilities that may be appropriate for professionals who are unlikely to interact with autistic individuals and individuals with a learning disability in their role. Further training beyond this course is needed to meet the requirements of Care Certificate Standard 16 for any care professional involved in supporting autistic individuals and individuals with a learning disability.
