Our history

Founded: 2012

My Learning Cloud was born in 2012 from the desire to provide a Learning Environment and suite of online e-learning courses targeted towards the health and social care sector.

Skills for Care Endorsement in 2016

In 2016 we became the first e-learning provider in England to be endorsed by Skills for Care, in fact we helped write the endorsement framework.

Business Excellence Awards Winner

In 2020, we proudly won the titles of Medium Business of the Year and Overall Business of the Year at the Portsmouth Business Excellence Awards!

Supporting Skills for Care

During the Covid-19 pandemic, we partnered with Skills for Care to support their Covid-19 Funded Rapid Induction Training, helping care providers address workforce training needs.

Celebrating a Decade

In the summer of 2022, we marked our 10th anniversary with a team celebration, enjoying a memorable beach BBQ to honour a decade of growth.

Full release of our Lumis Products

After the successful launches of Lumis Essentials and Lumis Pro, we started 2025 with the release of Lumis Enterprise! Our 3rd generation of LMS available for all.

Director

Michael has been with My Learning Cloud from the start! Beginning his journey as a Software Developer, he now leads the team with extensive product knowledge and a passion for innovation.

Kirsty Dearne

Product & Customer Experience Lead

Kirsty leads our Customer Retention Team, working closely with customers to ensure their needs are heard and they receive the support they deserve.

Brian Smith

UI/UX Design Lead

Brian leads our development team focused on the UI/UX of our LMS. With his expertise, he ensures that our product is intuitive and user-friendly.

Scott Austin

API & Infrastructure Lead

Scott directs a team focused on the technical, behind-the-scenes code, ensuring that the infrastructure of our platform runs smoothly and efficiently.

Amy Lucas

e-Learning and Digital Content Lead

Amy heads up our e-Learning development, working closely with the team to ensure our courseware continues to grow and evolve in line with customer needs. She also leads on bespoke content, creating tailored learning solutions that meet specific organisational requirements.

Jordan Day

Commercial Lead

Jordan leads our Sales & Marketing function, managing campaigns, representing My Learning Cloud at events, and supporting new customers from the very start of their journey. He’s often the first face you’ll meet, delivering platform demos and helping organisations find the right solution for their needs.
